The a.folha atelier is based on a philosophy of love, respect, and honor for nature. We aim to stimulate a more attentive, curious, and reverential gaze towards all living beings, whether they are plants, animals, or fungi.

Through pieces for both use and contemplation, we seek to reconnect people, especially children in early education, with the complexity, beauty, and intelligence of nature and its ecology.

All plants, mushrooms, and other natural elements used in the pieces are collected with great respect in our garden, on walks, and trips, resulting in exclusive collections with elements specific to the regions visited. It is important to highlight that the a.folha atelier does not buy or promote the trade of insects. All specimens are found or gifted and are only collected when already dead, making the piece a tribute to their existence.

This sensitive and respectful approach, combined with the use of pieces of insects encrusted in epoxy resin, can be an important tool in early education. It stimulates children's interest in the wonders of nature, arouses curiosity about insects, and promotes environmental awareness from an early age.
